>> SIFT Won The Japanese Speech Competition

The Fifth "KYORITSU CUP" Japanese Lecture Contest, sponsored by the KYORITSU International Foundation and the Ganquan School, took place at the Shanghai Ganquan Foreign Languages Middle School on October 21st. There were more than 100 students of Japanese major, who participated in the contest, with most of them coming from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, TongJi University, Shanghai International Studies University, Shanghai University and six other universities.

Based on their success in the written part of the examination in the morning, three SIFT students were able to compete in the second part of the exam on improvisational and extemporaneous speaking. Zhangyiqing, a SIFT senior majoring in Japanese, won the first prize for her outstanding performance. As a result, she can enjoy a one week visit to Japan. Two other SIFT students Qian yushu and Wang zhuhun got second and third prize respectively.

Due to the hard work of SIFT's students, our school took the lead in the contest. Congratulations to all!
