>> China Program Director of Northern Arizona University Visits SIFT

Mr. Daniel Palm, Program Director for China Initiatives, Center for International Education, Northern Arizona University (NAU), visited SIFT on 18 September 2012. Mr. Qiu Guixi, Dean of SIFT School of International Studies met with Mr. Palm at the Gubei campus, briefing him on the latest developments of SIFT School of International Studies such as the long- and short-term international exchange programs. On the afternoon of the same day, Ms. Xu Dongfeng, Director of SIFT Foreign Affairs Office met with Mr. Palm at the Songjiang campus. The two sides exchanged views on teacher exchange and study tour programs, wishing to further their cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Established in 1899, NAU is a public university in the United States, with a student enrolment of over 20,000. The W. A. Franke College of Business (FCB) at NAU, which has been fully accredited by the national accrediting body AACSB International – the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, offers bachelor’s degree programs such as accounting, computer information systems, economics, finance, marketing and management, and master’s degree programs such as MBA and accounting. FCB has over 370 international students from more than 70 countries, and students from China accounts for about 10%.
